Notes: The St James Old Cathedral was an Anglican Church of which the foundation stone was laid on 9 Nov 1839 by Sir Charles La Trobe. The Church was the first substantial brick building in Melbourne. The Church was designed by Robert Russell and built by George Beaver. The Church was first opened in 1842 and completed in 1847.
